December 13 Scrimmage Announced for New and Developing Mock Trial Teams
The Virginia Law-Related Education Institute (VLRE) is excited to announce a special scrimmage on Saturday, December 13, 2025, for high school mock trial programs that are brand new this year or that have never advanced to the state competition.
This event is designed to give new teams the chance to practice in a supportive environment before entering regional tournaments. Each team will participate in two rounds—one on the plaintiff side and one on the defense side—and will receive detailed feedback from experienced coaches and judges.
