Henrico High School Is Your 2025 State Mock Trial Champion

Henrico High School Is the 2025 VA+DC Mock Trial Champion!

After four preliminary rounds, Henrico High School prevailed in our VA+DC State Championship on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Northview Mock Trial Academy was the runner-up.

Twenty top teams from around the state, as well as courtroom journalists and courtroom artists, competed at the Henrico County Courthouse on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Zero Stafford from Henrico High School won the Courtroom Artist competition. Anay Abey from Henrico High School won the Courtroom Journalist competition.

In winning the competition, Henrico earned the right to represent Virginia and DC at the National High School Mock Trial Competition in Phoenix, Arizona, in May.

Thank you to our State Finals Host, Henrico County Courthouse and the Henrico County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office and the many legal professionals who volunteered their time as presiding judges and scoring jurors at the competition!
