Henrico High School Is Your 2025 VA + DC Mock Trial Champion

After four preliminary rounds and an incredibly close final, Henrico High School prevailed in our VA+DC State Championship on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Northview Mock Trial Academy was the runner-up.

Twenty top teams from around the state, as well as courtroom journalists and courtroom artists, competed at the Henrico County Courthouse on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Zero from Henrico High School won the Courtroom Artist competition. Anay Abey from Henrico High School won the Courtroom Journalist competition.

In winning the competition, Henrico earned the right to represent Virginia and DC at the National High School Mock Trial Competition in Phoenix, Arizona, in May.
